Salt Water Fishing Alabama

Fishing in Alabama can be quite fun but you need to have a license to fish in the saltwater first. This region is known to provide excellent salt water fishing opportunity for fishing enthusiasts. Fishes like basses and salt water salmon are in abundance these days so you are in for goo hunting. Moreover, basses swarm into the region so bass catchers are also in for a good fishing spree.

Alabama Bass Fishing
Bass fishing in Alabama is a lot of fun and you are likely to find schools of basses near the water surface. Basses like to swim in cold waters so it would be better to have your fishing net ready in evening or night. During the day time, you may not find as many basses as you’d want to so don’t waste your time looking for them when the sun shines bright.

During winters when the temperature is in low 70 degree, basses can be found near channels and surface all day long. Usually, April and May are the best months for fishing basses. However, since it rains heavily during these months, the waters get dirty and cluttered. To make the most out of your fishing experience, use a fishing rod that is thicker than usual. This is so as bass can be quite heavy and lifting it can take a toll on your rod. Also, make sure you carry a fishing net with you. It should have medium size holes but not too large.

Catching bass can be a lot of fun if you know where and how to look for them. From creeks to open waters, you can find them anywhere during the winters. However, catching bass in Alabama is not a good idea as they go down to the river bed for the most of part of the day.
